The public attended the fulfillment of a 16 year dream on Thursday, May 7, 2015, when Erin’s Home, transitional housing for survivors of domestic violence, celebrated its Grand Opening. The Erin Kimball Foundation, which was founded in 1999 by the surviving family members of Erin Kimball and her two children, Brittany and Joey, who died as a result of domestic violence; began renovation on Erin’s Home in 2012.

The building of Erin’s Home was a labor of love by many in the community, both businesses and individuals. The Erin Kimball Foundation expressed sincere thank to all who helped in so many ways. Community members attended the Open House on Thursday, May 7, 2015 with the Dedication and Ribbon Cutting. This was a great opportunity to learn more about this vital organization in our midst. Erin’s Home is located at 455 W. Vincent Lane, Washington City, just off 500 West and Telegraph Rd.
